VARLIK BİLDİREN CÜMLELER

There is...../ There are .....


Bu cümle kalıpları bir yerde neyin ile veya kimin var olduğunu
bildirir.

Bu yapılar genellikle Türkçenin tam tersi şeklinde ifade edilir.

Örneğin:
Odada bir kedi var.
Cümlesini İngilizce söyleyelim;


There is : Vardır (3)
a cat        : bir kedi (2)
in the room.: odada (1)

There is a cat in the room.
(There's a cat in the room.)

 Şimdi yukarıdaki Türkçe ifadeleri sondan başlayarak söyleyelim.
Odada bir kedi vardır.

Örneğin:
Bahçemizde güzel çiçekler var.

There are : Vardır (3)
beautiful flowers : güzel çiçekler (2)
in our garden.    : bahçemizde. (1)
